Objective To synthesize the angiogenesis inhibitor, 2-methoxylestradiol. Methods 2-Methoxylestradiol was obtained by acylation, Frise rearrangement, protection of 3-hydroxyl, hydrolyzation, 2-methylation, and deprotection of 3-benzyl ether. Results Comparing
